Abies koreana 'Silver Show' (Korean Fir) is an evergreen conifer forming a compact pyramid with tightly curled needles, exposing the silvery-white undersides. Abundant purple cones are held upright along the branches, creating a lovely contrast against the bi-color foliage. A moderate grower, 6-10 in. per year (15-25 cm), this Korean Fir makes an eye-catching specimen accent.

  • Grows up to 12 ft. high (360 cm) and 8 ft. wide (2.5 m).
  • Performs best in full sun in rich, slightly acidic, moist, well-drained soils. More tolerant of heat and humidity than most firs but performs best in cooler climates.
  • Virtually disease free. Watch for aphids and adelgids. Easy to grow, easy to care for and rarely browsed by deer.
  • No pruning required.
