Incredibly pretty, Agave 'Joe Hoak' is an evergreen succulent perennial which produces striking rosettes of gracefully curving leaves, delicately striated with pale gray-green and cream, and adorned with a terminal reddish-brown spine. The 2 ft. long leaves (60 cm) exhibit a strong green margin on the lower half of the leaf and small marginal teeth along their edges. Panicles of pale yellow flowers may emerge on mature plants (over 8 years old). Fast growing, it often produces many offsets. A fabulous Agave which makes a dramatic focal point and can be used in decorative pots.
- Grows up to 2-3 ft. tall (60-90 cm) and 3-4 ft. wide (90-120 cm).
- Easily grown in slightly acidic, sandy or gravelly, moist or dry, well-drained soils in full sun.
