Aloe x principis is a large evergreen succulent perennial forming a small tree bearing rosettes of dark blue-green leaves on several trunks. In winter to spring, a branched inflorescence rises above the foliage to display dense spikes of brilliant, scarlet to orange, tubular flowers, brightening up the dull winter garden. Vigorous, Aloe x principis results from a natural cross between Aloe ferox and Aloe arborescens

  • Grows up to 6-9 ft. tall (180-270 cm) and 3-6 ft. wide (90-180 cm).
  • Easily grown in well-drained soils in full sun. Little to no irrigation is required.
  • Great for beds and borders, rock gardens, succulent gardens or Mediterranean gardens. Ideal as an accent plant in sunny borders.
  • Deer resistant. The flowers produce nectar and are attractive to birds and bees
