Extremely free-flowering, Erigeron glaucus ‘Sea Breeze’ (Seaside Daisy) is a low-growing perennial forming a ravishing carpet of semi-double, lilac-pink flowers adorned with yellow centers. Blooming for months from late spring until fall, they almost cover the fresh foliage of blue-green leaves. Great for planting near the sea. Perfect for rock gardens and crevices in paving. Evergreen in mild winter areas, it is deer resistant and drought tolerant.

  • Grows up to 12-18 in. tall (30-45 cm) with a spread of 18-24 in. (45-60 cm).
  • Easily grown in fertile, moist, well-drained soils in full sun to light shade.
  • Great for beds and borders, cottage gardens, coastal gardens, city gardens, rock gardens or containers.
  • Virtually disease and pest free.
  • Propagate by division or from stem cuttings in spring.
  • Cut back at the end of the season.
  • Toxic to dogs, toxic to cats, toxic to horses.
  • Erigeron glaucus is native to the coastline of Oregon and California where it grows on beaches, coastal bluffs and dunes.
