Campanula persicifolia ‘Chettle Charm’ (Peach-Leaved Bellflower) is an upright perennial with elegant spikes of large, outward-facing, cup-shaped, creamy-white flowers tinged with pale blue at their petal edges. Blooming in early to late summer, they rise above a basal rosette of narrow lance-shaped, bright green leaves. Removing spent flowers will greatly increase the blooming season. This Bellflower is an excellent choice for the border or mixed containers.

  • Grows up to 30-36 in. tall (75-90 cm) and 12-18 in across (30-45 cm). This plant has a tendency to modestly spread by self-seeding and offsets in satisfactory growing conditions. However it is never invasive.
  • Thrives in full sun or part shade in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils. Prefers part shade in warmer climates. Needs regular moisture!
  • Ideal for beds, borders, underplanting shrubs and roses, cottage gardens. Plant in groups for best visual impact. Makes excellent fresh cut flowers with the flowers lasting up to a week in a vase!
  • Easy to grow, relatively disease and pest free, this low care perennial is also deer and rabbit resistant!
  • Deadhead spent flowers to encourage new blooms and cut back to basal foliage after flowering to prevent self-seeding. Propagate by division in spring or autumn or take basal cuttings in spring.
