A very unusual Bellflower, Campanula takesimana ‘Beautiful Trust’ (Korean Bellflower) is a clump-forming, rhizomatous perennial with gracefully arching stems bearing starry, white flowers adorned with long and elegant spidery petals. Blooming from mid to late summer, the flowers dangle above a lush foliage of heart-shaped, semi-glossy, mid-green leaves. Fast spreading, this interesting Bellflower is perfect as a groundcover or in areas where it will not overtake valued plants. Semi-evergreen in mild winter areas.

  • Grows up to 18-24 in. tall (45-60 cm) and 24-36 in. wide (60-90 cm). Can spread vigorously by both self-seeding and underground rhizomes in optimal growing conditions.
  • Thrives in full sun or part shade, in average, medium, well-drained soils. Prefers part shade in warmer climates. Needs regular moisture!
  • Ideal for beds, borders, underplantings around shrubs and trees, cottage gardens, rock gardens or naturalized areas.
  • Easy to grow, virtually disease and pest free, this plant is low care and deer resistant.
  • Cut back after flowering to prevent self-seeding and to encourage a second flush of blooms.
  • Propagate by division in spring or autumn or take basal cuttings in winter
  • Divide clumps in fall every 3-4 years.
