Celosia argentea var. cristata (Plumosa Group) ‘Fresh Look Orange’ is an upright, bushy annual boasting a profusion of extra-large, marmalade orange, plume-like flowers, 10 in. long (25 cm). Blooming throughout summer into fall, the erect feathery spikes rise on stems clad with spear-shaped bright green leaves. This tropical plant is effective as a bedding plant or in containers. Like all Celosia plumosa, flowers can be cut for arrangements or dried as an everlasting bouquet.
