Coreopsis 'Limerock Passion',Tickseed Limerock Passion, Limerock Passion Tickseed, Drought tolerant plants, Purple flowers, Lavender flowers

Extraordinarily floriferous, Coreopsis ‘Limerock Passion’ is a rhizomatous perennial forming a dense, bushy clump of neat, ferny foliage. From early summer through early fall, it produces masses of small, lavender-pink, daisy-like flowers adorned with a bright golden center. Borne atop slender self-supporting stems, the blossoms rise well above the airy foliage. Tolerant of heat, humidity and some drought, this Tickseed is perfect to create a stunning floral display in the garden. Exceptional for containers or edging.

  • Grows up to 12-18 in. in height (30-45cm) and 12-24 in. across (30-60 cm).
  • Prefers full sun and enjoys dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils. Thrives in poor, sandy or rocky soils and is drought and deer tolerant.
  • Easy to grow, unfussy and relatively low maintenance, this Coreopsis is a favorite of bees and butterflies.
  • Welcomed addition to the front of borders, sidewalk edgings, cottage gardens or containers.
  • Midsummer shearing (after the first flush of flowers) will keep this plant looking its best all season and promote a fall rebloom.
  • Coreopsis, commonly known as Tickseed, are a favorite of many gardeners thanks to the bright colors of their flowers and their ability to put up with most garden soils. There are over 100 species available and countless hybrids. Most of them are low maintenance, drought tolerant and enjoy long blooming seasons. Workhorse perennials in the sunny borders, they make excellent cut flowers.
