Corydalis ‘Blackberry Wine’ (Fumewort) is a low-growing, spreading perennial forming an attractive mat of lacy, blue-green leaves. From early summer to fall, attractive racemes of fragrant, blackberry wine, tubular flowers are produced on short, upright stems above the foliage, creating a remarkable contrast. Easy to grow, this Fumewort does not go summer dormant and keeps its handsome foliage lush and fresh until fall. It has only a short downtime in late summer before blooming again in the fall. Tolerates heat and humidity. Perfect for the shade garden, moist banks, or as a groundcover.
