Plantain Lily 'Rainforest Sunrise'
Small and attractive, Hosta ‘Rainforest Sunrise’ (Plantain Lily) forms a compact mound of widely oval, prominently veined, chartreuse to yellow leaves, widely margined bright dark green. The contrast between the bright center and the dark green margins is particularly lovely as it resembles a hand painted pattern. Thick and glossy, the leaves hold up well all season, and are also slug resistant. Pale lavender flowers appear in midsummer, rising on scapes 24 in. long (60 cm). A pretty sport of Hosta ‘Maui Buttercups’ that is perfect for small gardens and containers.
