Rose New Zealand, Rosa 'Aotearoa',Rosa 'Aotearoa New Zealand', Rosa 'MACgenev', Hybrid Tea Roses, Shrub Roses
Wonderfully fragrant and floriferous, Rosa New Zealand is a lovely Hybrid Tea rose with very large, 6 in. across (15 cm), full, high-centered, shell pink flowers (25-34 petals). Their reflexed and ruffled petals are adorned with delicate salmon-pink undertones. Rich with an intense honeysuckle fragrance, the romantic blossoms bloom profusely in flushes from spring to fall. They are borne mostly solitary on almost thornless, long stems and are excellent for cutting. A bushy, upright, handsomely shaped shrub with large, semi-glossy, dark green leaves which provide an ideal backdrop for its summer-long floral display. Excellent disease resistance.
