Zinnia marylandica 'Double Zahara Yellow', Zinnia 'Double Zahara Yellow', Double Zahara Series, Yellow Zinnia, Yellow Double Zinnia

Zinnia marylandica ‘Double Zahara Yellow’ features fully double, large, bright golden-yellow flowers. As the flower matures, a circle of small golden stars surrounds its center disk. Borne atop sturdy stems, the fiery blossoms float above the fresh green foliage and make a bold statement in the landscape. Blooming profusely over a lengthy season extending from early summer to frost, they are perfect for the sunny border and make lovely mini bouquets. Proven leaf spot and mildew resistance and excellent plant vigor provide reliable season long performance.

  • Forms a dense, compact mound up to 16-20 in. tall and wide (40-50 cm).
  • Extremely easy to grow, Zinnias are annuals which love full sun and prefer a humusy, evenly moist and well-draining soil.
  • Great choice for beds and borders or large containers. Excellent pick for the cutting garden!
  • Adored by butterflies, hummingbirds and birds.
  • Don’t crowd them to keep them disease-free and avoid powdery mildew. Air circulation is important!
  • Among the easiest plants to grow from seed, you can start seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before the last first date, should you wish earlier spring blooms.
