Stately and robust, Acanthus are herbaceous perennials grown for their beautiful foliage of large, deeply cut leaves and their strikingly elegant spikes of hooded flowers. Blooming in summer, they tolerate full sun, partial or full shade, are easy to grow, require very little care and make striking cut flowers, both fresh and dried.
