Bergenia

A groundcover for all seasons, Bergenia boasts remarkable, shiny, leathery green leaves which change color as cold weather approaches. Turning bronze, purple or russet, the distinctive rosettes of this perennial plant always add drama in the shady garden. As a bonus, tresses of pink, rose, or white flowers appear on sturdy stalks nestled in the foliage in spring. Deer resistant, evergreen, easy to grow, Bergenia is also perfect as edging plant or for containers.
