Ceratostigma - Plumbagos

Valued for their late season clusters of intense blue flowers, Ceratostigma (Plumbago) can be evergreen or deciduous shrubs or herbaceous perennials. Blooming for weeks from summer to fall, their leaves usually turn conspicuously red in the fall, creating a beautiful contrast against the blue flowers. Easy to grow and low care, they add a long-lasting burst of color in the fall garden and require a sunny position and well drained soils.
