Ligustrum - Privets

Wonderful hedge plants, Ligustrum (Privets) can be deciduous or evergreen shrubs or small trees, with simple leaves and abundant, showy clusters or white to creamy-white flowers in late spring or early summer. The blossoms are followed by black or deep purple berries that birds spread out. Privets can also be clipped into formal shapes and featured in containers. Easy to grow in full sun or partial shade, they thrive on any well-drained soils.
