Polemonium - Jacob's Ladders

Valued for their blue flowers and fern-like foliage, Polemonium (Jacob's Ladder) can be annuals or herbaceous perennials of upright or spreading habit. Blooming in spring or summer, they are excellent garden plants. The rather delicate foliage mound is handsome on most species and the plants are ornamental, even when not in flower. They do well in cooler climates and require full sun to partial shade, and well-drained soil.
