Extraordinarily eye-catching, Rhododendron mollis are hybrid deciduous Azaleas with lush and large clusters of 7-13 flowers in striking shades of yellow, orange, salmon, pink or white in late spring or early summer. More compact and spreading than the other hybrid Azaleas, they are cold-hardy and can withstand temperatures down to -10°F (-23°C).
One of the first and most beautiful spring-flowering native azaleas to bloom, Rhododendron vaseyi (Pink-Shell Azalea) is a deciduous, irregular rounded shrub which features trusses of 4 to 8 delicate pink to white, flat-faced flowers on leafless stems, with some prominent spotting in their throat
Award-winning Rhus Tiphina 'Dissecta' is an open, spreading, deciduous shrub or small tree with nice ornamental features. Its foliage of large, deeply dissected, fern-like, bright green leaves, 2 ft. long (60 cm), warms up to brilliant shades of red, orange and yellow in fall.
Extremely winter hardy, Ribes alpinum (Alpine Currant) is a compact, mound-forming, deciduous shrub with bright green, trilobed leaves in spring. Emerging early, the foliage changes to dark green in summer with an attractive gloss on the leaf uppersides, before warming up to yellow in the fall.
Bred by David Austin in 1990, Rosa 'Ambridge Rose' is still very popular today for various reasons. First, it is particularly beautiful with its fully double, nicely cupped, blooms that open to form a loose rosette formation. Second, this lovely rose is rich of a powerful and outstanding myrrh fragrance. Finally, this small shrub rose blooms continually throughout the season.
Adding excitement to the garden, English Rose 'Anne Boleyn' features lovely rosette-shaped, small blossoms, packed with petals of the softest, warmest pink. They are produced in large sprays and borne on gracefully arching stems atop a soft green, highly polished foliage.
Reliable and free-flowering, award-winning Rosa 'Ballerina' is a compact, rounded shrub with large sprays of slightly fragrant, single, soft pink flowers adorned with white centers. Blooming continuously from summer to fall, they are produced in great quantities and stand out against the attractive foliage of light green leaves. Loved around the world, 'Ballerina' is a charming and versatile hybrid musk rose
English Rose 'Brother Cadfael' enjoys some of the largest and most spectacular blooms of all the English Roses. Resembling peonies, the huge (5 in. wide or 12 cm), globular, clear pink flowers are deeply cupped, with reflexed petals (about 45) giving a slightly enclosed effect.
Regarded as one of the best Musk roses, award-winning Rosa 'Buff Beauty' is a vigorous, spreading medium-sized shrub with large clusters of deliciously scented, very full (over 41 petals), semi-double flowers in the most attractive shades of buff-yellow to apricot and paling to primrose. Rich of a strong tea fragrance, the pretty blooms stand out against the lustrous foliage of dark green leaves.
