Once a forgotten side yard, this small place has been converted into an absolutely charming garden, where we would spend hours gazing at its perfection! Debora Carl has once again worked her magic here.
First, she combined various shapes, circles and squares, to create more interest.
Second, she introduced a beautiful focal point, a perfectly shaped urn sitting at the center of the circle, that is smartly complemented by a small cute accessory fixed on the gate. This creates a line, which is reinforced by the neatly aligned pavers in the gravel path, and seems to converge to a ‘vanishing point’, the gate’s accessory, which in the distance appears smaller.
This illusion is accentuated by having purposely selected a small object.
All this helps make a small garden seem larger.
