A Colorful Front Walk

Plant Combinations, Garden Paths, Walkways

Add splashes of color and fragrance to your path. Here, AG-Trac Enterprises planted the low-growing Catmint 'Little Trudy' (Nepeta x psfike) in mass, a colorful way of softening the harsh lines of the front walk while providing maximum enjoyment of its aromatic foliage. Numerous spikes of blue-violet flowers will be on display for weeks of color from spring to late summer - a welcoming return home!

Catmint 'Little Trudy' is a dwarf, compact form of catmint with a low spreading habit and a long blooming season. Since this cultivar is sometimes hard to find, a good substitute would be Catmint 'Blue Moon', another dwarf, compact catmint, which produces large, dense blue flower spikes from early to late summer.
