Brugmansia ‘Frosty Pink’ (Angel’s Trumpet)

Brugmansia ‘Frosty Pink’ (Angel’s Trumpet) is a tropical shrub or small tree laden with huge, pendulous, trumpet-shaped, salmon-pink flowers, 8-10 in. long (20-25 cm). Blooming from midsummer to fall, the blossoms actively open and close depending on the time of day. Sparkling against the foliage of long, dark green leaves, the flowers exude a powerful fragrance in the evenings. This flowering shrub makes a wonderful and dramatic focal point. Easy and fast-growing, it will knock your socks off!

• Grows up to 7-8 ft. tall (210-240 cm) and 4-5 ft. wide (120-150 cm).
• A full sun lover, this plant is best grown in organically rich, moist, well-drained soils. Afternoon shade is appreciated in hot summer areas. Brugmansias are heavy feeders and need regular fertilization during the growing season to promote new growth and flowers.
• In cool winter areas, grow outdoors in full sun after the danger of frost is passed. Grow under glass in full light over winter with a minimum of 45-50°F (7-10°C). In warm winter areas, plant as a specimen. Perfect for beds and borders, Mediterranean gardens, or containers.
• Virtually disease free – watch for glasshouse red spider mite, glasshouse whitefly, thrips, and mealybugs under glass.
• All parts are highly toxic if ingested and sap may be an irritant. Wear gloves and other protective equipment when handling.
