Indefatigable, it produces an abundance of white double flowers right through the season until winter. It is paired with the showy star-shaped flowers of Centranthus Ruber (Red Valerian), a bushy perennial with one of the longest blooming seasons.
The shorter days of late summer or early fall bring a firework of colors in this plant combination with the spiky purple blossoms of Salvia leucantha (Mexican Bush Sage).
