Dianthus caryophyllus SuperTrouper Silver Pink (Carnation) is an eye-catching perennial with a profusion of clove-scented, fully double, silver-pink frilly-edged flowers. Borne atop upright stems in spring and summer, the blossoms float above a low mound of narrow gray-green leaves. A strong performer, this carnation is perfect for the sunny border, patio containers and makes exquisite and long-lasting cut flowers.

  • Grows up to 10-14 in. tall (25-35 cm) and 10-12 in. wide (25-30 cm).
  • Performs best in full sun in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Prefers neutral to slightly alkaline conditions.
  • Extremely versatile, this carnation is ideal for beds and borders, cottage gardens or containers.
  • Easy to grow, deer resistant, its clove fragrance attracts an array of beneficial insects to the garden, such as bees and butterflies
