Plant Combinations, Flowerbeds Ideas, Summer Borders, Fall Borders

Garden ideas, landscaping ideas, Plant Combinations, Flowerbeds Ideas, Summer Borders, Fall Borders, Aster novae angliae, New England Aster, Japanese Anemones, Anemone Elegans,

This spectacular pair of perennials will provide weeks of joyful color in your borders from late summer to fall. Beautifully associated with the rich violet-purple daisies of Aster novae-angliae ‘Violetta’ (New England Asters), are the incredibly pretty, pale pink flowers of Anemone x hybrida ‘Elegans’ (Japanese Anemone).

Few plants can send up a succession of flowers for weeks and look elegant at every stage. Japanese Anemones are one of them. As presented in this garden scene, they mix well with vibrant fall flowers such as Asters.

A classic and vibrant mix of contrasting pink and purple for the late season perennial border. Perfect for wet soils. Deer and rabbit resistant too!
