Delightfully fragrant, the charming rose-pink rosettes of English Rose ‘The Mayflower’ are beautifully underplanted with the abundant and long-lasting bell-shaped flowers of Penstemon ‘Stapleford Gem’ (Beardtongue). Aside from being very ornamental, this semi-evergreen perennial is a perfect rose companion plant as it attracts scores of beneficial insects. Since ‘The Mayflower’ is a shrub rose which repeat flowers with exceptional continuity and is rarely without flowers, you will enjoy this lovely combo for many, many weeks!

Both plants have won the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society.
