Achillea millefolium 'Firefly Diamond' (Yarrow) is a spreading perennial boasting a profusion of ivory-white flower clusters from early to late summer. Borne on tall, sturdy stems, the blossoms remain attractive as they age and contrast nicely with the dark green, fern-like foliage. Attractive to bees and butterflies, easy care, drought and heat tolerant, deer and rabbit resistant, this eye-catching yarrow is perfect for hot, dry and sunny borders, outstanding in containers and excellent for cutting.
- Grows up to 24-28 in. tall (60-70 cm) and 32-40 in. wide (80-100 cm).
- Performs best in full sun in average, dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils. Light shade is tolerated, but best coloring and flowering is obtained in full sun. Drought tolerant once established.
- Vital ingredient of beds and borders, city gardens, cottage gardens or patio containers. Achillea is also valued for the excellent quality of its cut flowers, whether in bouquets or dried floral arrangements.
- No serious pest or disease issues. Keep an eye out for aphids, powdery mildew. Deer and rabbit resistant.
- Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering. Trim back hard after the first flush of bloom, to maintain a compact habit.

Achillea millefolium (Common Yarrow) is native to most of Europe and temperate parts of western Asia.
