Anemone blanda ‘White Splendour’ (Grecian Windflower)

Multiple award-winner, Anemone blanda ‘White Splendour’ is a very attractive tuberous perennial that provides drifts of pure white color in mid-spring. Lovely mounds of large and luminous daisy-like flowers, about 2 inches wide (5cm), with a greenish-yellow center and pink-tinted backs, show off over a finely cut fernlike foliage and spread out to form a carpet of flowers. These daisies are a delight and seem to last for weeks. Ideal for planting along paths and borders, even under shade trees. For sheer spring joy, plant a few!

• Winter hardy, this low-growing perennial grows to only 4-6 inches tall (10-15 cm).
• Extremely popular due to its early and massive flowering and ability to naturalize easily. Grecian Windflowers will multiply and continue to appear in spring for years and years to come.
• It should be planted in the fall, ideally in partial shade areas and moist soil. It will also grow in full sun, provided the soil remains moist.
