Very compact and free flowering, Dianthus ‘Starbust’ (Pink) is a charming evergreen perennial with masses of strongly scented, semi-double, frilly, cherry-red flowers adorned with striking pink and white patterns. Blooming from late spring to mid-summer (or later with regular deadheading), the large blossoms rise on upright stems above a low mound of grassy, silver-blue leaves. Easy to grow, and perfect for adding a splash of color in the garden, this Garden Pink is an excellent addition to the sunny border, rock garden or containers.
