Sword Lily 'Black Star', Black Star Sword Lily
Adding a touch a drama in the garden, Gladiolus ‘Black Star’ (Sword Lily) is particularly eye-catching with its spikes of deep mahogany red, almost black blossoms adorned with a subtle contrasting stripe along the petals. Each flower spike rises among erect, narrow, deep-green sword-shaped leaves. Spectacular on its own, in the summer garden or in a vase. Since the flowers open from the bottom of the spike up, sword-lilies provide a long-lasting floral display, each flowering spike blooming for up to two weeks.
