Fred Ives' Graptoveria, Echeveria 'Fred Ives'
Graptoveria ‘Fred Ives’ is an incredibly pretty evergreen succulent forming spreading clumps of large rosettes (12 in. wide or 30cm) of fleshy, pointed bronze leaves adorned with shades of pink. Depending on seasons, temperature, and sun exposure, the rosettes may blend shades of blue, teal, salmon, coral, or yellow. Borne on a short stout stem, this plant produces 1-2 ft. long (30-60 cm), arching inflorescences with pale yellow flowers and red-orange centers in summer. Vigorous and forgiving, ‘Fred Ives’ is the result of a cross between Graptopetalum paraguayense and Echeveria gibbiflora. It offsets readily and will eventually create a nice flower carpet. It is highly valued for its amazing color and beauty.
