Juniperus communis ‘Suecica Aurea’ (Swedish Juniper) is a narrow, pillar-shaped evergreen shrub forming a splendid exclamation point in the landscape. Its dense and compact erect branches bear short, prickly, bright golden needles in summer, changing to a greenish gold as the season progresses. This showy cultivar is ideal for providing year-round structure. It makes a wonderful specimen plant, adds accent vertical lines to the landscape. Perfect for hedges and windbreaks.
