Noted for its twisty leaves, Mangave ‘Desert Dragon’ is a tender perennial succulent boasting a ground-hugging evergreen rosette of wiggly, lance-shaped minty green leaves overlaid with dark purple spots. Easy to grow and undemanding, this Mangave makes a dramatic focal point or accent in the sunny border and in decorative containers.
Mangave is a cross between the genus Manfreda and Agave. These rare hybrids combine the best of both worlds: the better growth rate and the interesting patterns of Manfreda, and the habit and refinement of Agave.
