Shamrock 'Charmed Wine', Oxalis hybrid 'JROXBURWI'
Oxalis ‘Charmed Wine’ (Shamrock) is an eye-catching perennial, usually grown as an annual, forming a lush mound of velvety, violet-purple, shamrock-shaped leaves. From mid-spring to late summer, the handsome foliage is topped by delicate, pinkish-white flowers. Easy to grow, this Shamrock provides a great statement in shady areas and can be used as a houseplant year-round. A colorful addition with a long season of interest for hanging baskets, containers, window boxes, and the landscape.
It is a member of the Oxalidaceae family (wood sorrel family), home to ornamental favorites like the star fruit, little tree plant, violet wood sorrel, redwood sorrel, silver shamrock, and the iconic good luck plant. Other notable members include the striking false shamrock, purple shamrock, and the eye-catching candy cane sorrel.
