Calibrachoa ‘Superbells Dreamsicle’ is a compact, bushy or slightly trailing perennial, usually grown as an annual, boasting masses of bright orange flowers from late spring to the first frosts. Vigorous and blooming freely all season, this Calibrachoa is terrific in containers or hanging baskets, where it can function as a filler or trail gracefully over the edges. Resembling a small Petunia, it is heat tolerant and disease resistant. Easy to grow, it attracts hummingbirds and is wonderful for creating a dazzling display through the summer.

  • Grows up to 6-12 in. tall (15-30 cm) and 12-24 in. wide (30-60 cm). Will trail up to 30 in. long (75 cm).
  • Thrives in full sun or light shade in well-drained soils. In containers, allow the top of the soil to dry before watering again.
  • This Calibrachoa is perennial in hardiness zones 9-11 or climate zones 8,9,14-24 but treated as an annual in cooler areas.
  • Calibrachoa are usually easiest to grow in containers. They can be fantastic in-ground plants but will struggle in garden beds that have less than perfect drainage. Raised beds would be a good choice for planting Calibrachoa in the landscape.
  • Self-cleaning, no deadheading necessary. Will do best if fertilized on a regular basis. Cut back plants that become leggy.
  • Keep an eye out for aphids, slugs, snails, gray molds, or foot rot.
  • Propagate by seed.
