Blooming 2-3 weeks earlier than the typical Garden Phlox (P. paniculata), Phlox ‘Baby Doll Pink’ (Hybrid Phlox) is a compact herbaceous perennial boasting a profusion of bright pink flowers adorned with a white halo. Blooming from early to late summer, the fragrant flowers are rich in nectar and visited by bees, hummingbirds and butterflies. They are borne atop a bushy clump of broad, dark green, lush foliage that remains beautiful all season. Adding months of summer color, this dwarf garden phlox is perfect for small gardens and patio containers.

  • Grows up to 12-16 in. tall (30-40 cm) and 14-16 in. wide (35-40 cm).
  • Prefers full sun to very light shade and enjoys moderately fertile, medium moisture, well-drained soils. This plant needs good air circulation! Avoid overhead watering and add summer mulch to keep the root area cool.
  • Excellent choice for the perennial borders where the dazzling flowers are welcomed in any color scheme. May be planted as a single specimen or in groupings.
  • Deadhead to preserve a neat appearance and promote new blooms. Cut back stems after flowering is over.
  • Propagate by division in spring or autumn
