Noted for its long blooming season, Tetraneuris acaulis (Angelita Daisy) is a compact, tufted, evergreen perennial forming a basal rosette of small, spatulate to linear, glabrous leaves, 2 in. long (5 cm), covered with long hairs. Blooming throughout the year, with peaks during winter and spring, bright yellow daisy flowers to 1 in. (2.5 cm), adorned with notches edges, are carried singly on 12 in. reddish-green stems. A plant may produce up to 30 stems. Tough, heat, cold, and drought tolerant, Angelita Daisy is ideal for sunny rock gardens, borders, and containers and is a perfect species for xeric gardens where its charming desert flowers will shine.
