Gleaming with a metallic sheen, Allium ‘Firmament’ is an impressive Ornamental Onion with particularly long-lasting flowers. It is combined in this late spring garden with the exceptionally graceful Mexican Feather Grass (Nassella tenuissima or Stipa Tenuissima) and the luminous Eryngium bourgatii ‘Picos Blue’ (Mediterranean Sea Holly). Dense clumps of grassy green foliage, with upright stems of golden-yellow trumpet flowers are about to add their cheerful color to this plant combination and create a beautiful tapestry of changing colors.
