A scenery that reminds of Monet's Poppy Field in Argenteuil, where colorful blobs of paint start from a sprinkling of poppies. This casual and impressionistic planting combination is fairly easy to re-create and requires little maintenance. Blooming from late spring to mid summer, this naturalistic ensemble combines a few wildflowers and herbaceous perennials such as Flanders Poppy (Papaver rhoeas), Sage (Salvia nemorosa), Evening Primrose (Oenothera speciosa) and Sweet William Catchfly (Silene armeria).
