Serbian Spruce 'Pendula Bruns', Pendula Bruns Serbian Spruce, Bruns Weeping Serbian Spruce

A sight to behold, Picea omorika ‘Pendula Bruns’ (Serbian Spruce) is a very narrow, columnar, evergreen tree adorned with a strong central leader and strictly weeping branches that cascade down gracefully and hug the trunk. It is clothed in a lush foliage of silvery, blue-green needles. A moderate grower, 6-12 in. per year (15-30 cm), this Weeping Serbian Spruce is a breathtaking beauty year-round and makes a glorious vertical accent in the landscape.

  • Performs best in full sun in moist, well-drained soils. Tolerates light shade. Generally prefers cool climates and will struggle in hot and humid climate areas. Tolerates air pollution.
  • Perfect as a distinctive specimen plant in the sunny garden.
  • Watch for adelgids, aphids or conifer red spider mite. Easy to grow and easy to care for.
