Narrowleaf Firethorn 'Gnome', Slender Firethorn 'Gnome', Woolly Firethorn 'Gnome'
Noted for its winter hardiness, Pyracantha angustifolia ‘Gnome’ (Narrowleaf Firethorn) is a compact, thorny, evergreen shrub of dense habit with lance-shaped, glossy, dark green leaves. Tight clusters of attractive white flowers appear along the prior year’s wood in late spring to early summer. They are followed by abundant brilliant orange berries in fall, which persist well into winter. An attractive ornamental garden hedge, it is also an excellent security barrier. It can also be grown against a wall or fence.
