Glowing in the late spring and early summer garden, Trollius x cultorum ‘Orange Princess’ (Globe Flower) is an upright herbaceous perennial with attractive, long-stemmed, bowl-shaped, golden-orange flowers, 2.5 in. across (6-7cm), resembling double buttercups. Borne on erect stalks, the elegant blooms rise above a clump of deeply divided, toothed, dark green leaves. This perennial thrives in damp environments where it cheerfully brings its brightly colored blossoms. Spectacular in mass plantings!
