Glowing in the late spring to mid-summer garden, Trollius chinensis ‘Golden Queen’ (Globe Flower) is a particularly striking perennial with attractive, long-stemmed, bowl-shaped, golden-orange flowers, 2-3 in. across (5-7 cm), resembling double buttercups. Borne on erect stalks, the elegant blooms rise above a clump of deeply divided, toothed, dark green leaves.
