Glowing in the late spring to mid summer garden, Trollius chinensis 'Golden Queen' (Globe Flower) is a particularly striking perennial with attractive, long-stemmed, bowl-shaped, golden-orange flowers, 2-3 in. across (5-7 cm), resembling double buttercups. Born on erect stalks, the elegant blooms rise above a clump of deeply divided, toothed, dark green leaves. This perennial thrives in damp environments where it brings cheerfully its brightly colored blossoms. Dazzling in mass plantings!
