Veronica prostrata ‘Aztec Gold’ (Prostrate Speedwell) is a fast-growing perennial forming a compact mat of brilliant golden leaves, becoming chartreuse in partial shade. The foliage contrasts nicely with the short, erect racemes of rich blue flowers in late spring to early summer. This is a great plant for mixed containers, rock gardens, hanging baskets, cascading over walls or as a groundcover.
