Veronica repens (Creeping Speedwell) is a ground-hugging, evergreen perennial forming a showy carpet of tiny, shiny leaves on spreading stems. In spring, it produces clusters of small, white to lavender flowers. Tolerant of light foot traffic, the handsome creeping foliage is outstanding as a filler between paving stones, at garden’s edge, as ground cover or in a rock garden. Excellent edging plant for water gardens.

  • Grows up to 1-3 in. tall (2-7 cm) and 10-12 in. wide (25-30 cm).
  • Performs best in full sun to light shade in average, dry to moist, well-drained soils.
  • Perfect choice for city gardens, cottage gardens, rock gardensunderplanting of roses and shrubs and as a groundcover.
  • Easy to grow, this plant requires little care and is fairly pest and disease-free. Deer and rabbit resistant.
  • No pruning needed.
  • Propagate by division.
  • Native to Corsica and Morocco.
