A Captivating Perennial Planting with Rudbeckia, Salvia, Verbena and Antirrhinum

Perennial Combinations, Plant Combinations, Flowerbeds Ideas, Summer Borders, Fall Borders

This colorful and long-lasting summer border is fairly easy to replicate and includes just a few ingredients: the golden blossoms of Rudbeckia fulgida var. sullivantii 'Goldsturm', beautifully contrasting with the deep blue spikes of Salvia farinacea 'Victoria' (Mealy-Cup Sage) and Salvia 'Mystic Spires Blue', the tall purple wands of Verbena bonariensis (Brazilian Verbena) and the graceful white spires of Antirrhinum majus (Snapdragons) for a captivating result!

All plants are easy to grow, deer and drought tolerant, fairly low maintenance. They attract the energy of hummingbirds, bees or butterflies and make excellent fresh cut flowers. Enjoy!
