Rich in texture and interest, this fragrant garden border features a fresh color palette of blues and purples with the intent of cooling and calming down an outdoor area overheated after a warm summer day.

Present in this lovely plant combination are Agapanthus ‘Silver Moon’ with its dazzling silver variegated foliage, the delightfully fragrant Lavandula angustifolia ‘Hidcote’, the extraordinarily eye-catching flower-heads and marbled foliage of Eryngium bourgatii ‘Picos Blue’ (Mediterranean Sea Holly) and the airy violet-blue bouquet of Perovskia atriplicifolia ‘Blue Spire’. They are delicately veiled by Deschampsia cespitosa, creating a rich and delightful effect.

Designed by Paul Martin for the Hampton Court Flower Show in 2014, who would not want to enjoy a walk in such gorgeous surroundings?
