Spring Combination Ideas, Plant Combinations, Flowerbeds Ideas, Spring Borders, Summer Borders, Lady's Mantle, Alchemilla Mollis, Peonies, Paeonia Lactiflora, Geranium magnificum

This lovely perennial combination will make your garden sing in late spring – early summer. Simple to replicate at home, it includes the elegant pink blooms of Paeonia lactiflora (Garden Peony), the rich violet-blue blossoms of Geranium x magnificum (Purple Cranesbill) and the striking variegated foliage of Lysimachia punctata (Yellow Loosestrife). A lovely alternative to Yellow Loosetrife, which can be a vigorous spreader (although the variety suggested here is less aggressive than the species), would be Alchemilla mollis (Lady’s Mantle) with its lime green flowers. Enjoy a terrific late spring garden!

Most plants have won prestigious awards and are ignored by hungry deer and rabbits. Enjoy!
