This lovely perennial combination will make your garden sing in late spring - early summer. Simple to replicate at home, it includes the elegant pink blooms of Paeonia lactiflora (Garden Peony), the rich violet-blue blossoms of Geranium x magnificum (Purple Cranesbill) and the striking variegated foliage of Lysimachia punctata (Yellow Loosestrife). A lovely alternative to Yellow Loosetrife, which can be a vigorous spreader (although the variety suggested here is less aggressive than the species), would be Alchemilla mollis (Lady's Mantle) with its lime green flowers. Enjoy a terrific late spring garden!

Most plants have won prestigious awards and are ignored by hungry deer and rabbits. Enjoy!
