Deer-Resistant Beauty: A Colorful Garden for Pollinators

Bee Balm (Monarda didyma) is native to North America. It is known for its vibrant red flowers, which bloom from midsummer to early fall. The plant attracts pollinators like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.

Blue Globe Onion (Allium caeruleum), native to Central Asia, produces striking blue globes from late spring to early summer. These add a touch of cool color and also appeal to pollinators.

However, Monarda can be susceptible to powdery mildew, especially in humid conditions, which can be mitigated by proper spacing and good air circulation.
