Elephant's Ears 'Spring Fling', Pig Squeak 'Spring Fling'
Noted for its massive floral display, Bergenia ‘Spring Fling’ (Elephant’s Ears) is a compact, clump-forming evergreen perennial boasting erect clusters of bright magenta-pink flowers in early-mid spring. The showy blossoms are borne on thick red stems and rise well above a tight rosette of leathery, shiny leaves. Dark green in spring and summer, the leaves turn gradually satiny purple-black to dark chocolate in fall and winter, providing year-round interest. Low maintenance and easy to grow, Bergenia ‘Spring Fling’ can be used in mass plantings, in containers, on banks, in front of the border, or in mixed beds.
