Juniperus communis 'Compressa' (Common Juniper) is a dwarf, upright, cone-shaped, evergreen shrub forming a splendid exclamation point in the landscape. Quite prickly to the touch, the foliage of tightly packed, blue-green needles takes on copper-bronze shades in winter. Slow-growing, this columnar Juniper makes a wonderful specimen plant and is an excellent addition to the mixed border. Equally ideal for providing year-round structure in seasonal containers
